Intro.u Child Safety Standards
Intro.u is operated by Intro App Pty Ltd. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation and are committed to keeping our platform safe.
Scope and Age Requirement
Intro.u is intended only for people aged 18 years and over. People under 18 are not permitted to create an account or use the Service. This age restriction does not reduce our commitment to preventing, identifying, and responding to child safety risks.
Prohibited Content and Conduct
Intro.u explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:
- Creating, uploading, requesting, storing, sharing, or distributing CSAM.
- Grooming a child for sexual exploitation or sexual contact.
- Sextortion, blackmail, or threats involving a child's real or alleged intimate content.
- Sexualising a child or encouraging the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child.
- Advertising, soliciting, or facilitating the trafficking of a child for sexual exploitation.
- Using Intro.u to contact, target, recruit, or otherwise endanger a child.
Reporting a Child Safety Concern
Users can report a profile, message, or other concern using the reporting tools available in the Intro.u app. Concerns can also be submitted through the in-app Help Centre or by emailing info@introapp.com.au.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate law enforcement agency in your country.
Review and Enforcement
When Intro.u becomes aware of content or conduct that may violate these standards, we will review the available information and take appropriate action. Depending on the circumstances, action may include:
- Removing prohibited content.
- Restricting, suspending, or permanently terminating an account.
- Preserving relevant information where required for a lawful investigation.
- Reporting confirmed CSAM to the relevant regional authority or law enforcement as required by applicable law.
- Cooperating with lawful requests from child safety and law enforcement authorities.
Compliance with Child Safety Laws
Intro.u complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We act on actual knowledge of CSAM in accordance with these standards and applicable reporting obligations.
